Wear green and bring your lunch to the hospital lobby on St. Patricks's Day to enjoy Irish, Scottish, English, and early American song and dance tunes.
The Health Arts Network at Duke (HAND) is sponsoring the Pratie Heads, a Celtic musical duo that has performed for the Smithsonian Institution which was broadcast over Voice of America in countries all over the world.
The Pratie Heads has played for festivals, arts councils, schools, and community concerts through the 1980s as part of the North Carolina Touring program. The last of their four recordings -- "Heritage" -- was funded by the National Endowment for the Arts.
