Increase your confidence in the birthing process by attending a series of classes (four classes -- Tuesday/Thursday -- July 10, 12, 17 & 19, 2012) that includes information and practice sessions on: *Signs and stages of labor *Breathing techniques *Medical Interventions *Pain management options *Positioning for comfort *Postpartum Information *Role of the support person *What to expect in the hospital. Educators trained as Lamaze certified childbirth instructors (LCCE) teach all classes at Teer House. The eight-hour series is available on weekdays or weekends.
