Support group for those who are currently using a low-glycemic or low-carbohydrate approach to diet (along with exercise and stress management) to stabilize blood sugar, improve cardiovascular health, and lose weight. While participants/professionals share information on managing this diet approach, this is a peer-to-peer support group format.

Bring baby and practice movements to regain core stability and strength. This 6 week series of classes is targeted to new moms who are just beginning to exercise after pregnancy. Moms should be at least 6 weeks but not greater than 3 months postpartum when beginning class. If you experienced a cesarean birth, please bring medical clearance from your physician to exercise.

Learn how using ASL (American Sign Language) with your baby can help reduce frustration and tantrums, build language skills and enter your baby's world. Participants will develop skills in a few basic signs.

Pregnancy and Postpartum Support Group

The Duke Pregnancy and Postpartum Support group is available for anyone who is distressed during pregnancy or the first postpartum year.
