Bring baby and practice movements to regain core stability and strength. This 6 week series of classes is targeted to new moms who are just beginning to exercise after pregnancy. Moms should be at least 6 weeks to 3 months postpartum. If you experienced a cesarean birth, please bring medical clearance from your physician to exercise. Taking Charge & Living Well: A Lifestyle-Based Prevention Program

A 5-class (March 6,13,20,28 & April 3 2007) comprehensive lifestyle program focuses on sound nutrition, moderate exercise, stress management, and smoking cessation to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke as well as help prevent or control such cardiovascular risk facts as hypertension, high cholesterol, type II diabetes, and obesity. The program may also be appropriate for those with a history of cardiac or other disease who do not qualify for a cardiac rehabilitation program but wan to improve their overall health and future risk of disease. You can attend the first session with no fee or obligation to attend other classes. Must attend first session to attend one or more further classes. Fee for series - $25
Coping with Change and Losses Support Group

The support group provides a nurturing, supportive, and confidential environment for participants to share their feelings, thoughts and pain about their individual loss(es). The environment is conducive to learning from others that you are not alone in your journey through the pain.

A class focusing on the decision to breastfeed including information on: advantages and barriers to breastfeeding; how to establish breastfeeding routines; techniques to accomplish satisfactory breastfeeding; how to recognize and avoid potential challenges. Dad/Support Person encouraged to attend with Mom. Fee - $15
