The Health Arts Network at Duke will provide guidance, free journals and poetry packets to assist in cultivating and/or growing therapeutic writing techniques.
Tai Chi
3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Tai Chi (TIE-CHEE) uses flowing movements performed in a slow, focused manner and is accompanied by deep breathing. Instructor John Hillson, RN, ONC, CHPN will guide you through this graceful self-paced form of exercise that is now used for stress reduction and for a variety of other health conditions. These sessions are located in the Quiet Room on the 0 Level of the Cancer Center and are held on the 2nd and forth Thursday of the month. No registration is needed.
