Tai Chi
3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Tai Chi (TIE-CHEE) uses flowing movements performed in a slow, focused manner and is accompanied by deep breathing. Instructor John Hillson, RN, ONC, CHPN will guide you through this graceful self-paced form of exercise that is now used for stress reduction and for a variety of other health conditions. These sessions are located in the Quiet Room on the 0 Level of the Cancer Center and are held on the 2nd and forth Thursday of the month. No registration is needed. The Mood Disorders Support and Education Group meets every 4th Thursday of the month and is beneficial for those experiencing mood disorders, including bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety. We are open to patients, family members, and loved ones who want to learn about or be supported in dealing with the effects of Mood Disorders.
