Motherhood: The New Reality Show

Bring the baby, pack a lunch and join other new moms as we brainstorm tips on infant care and surviving motherhood. We will discuss coping strategies for the developmental milestones of infants, provide lactation support, offer suggestions for transitioning back to work and share resources for staying home full-time.
This class/support group is targeted to moms who are 2 – 12 weeks post-delivery, however, any new mother is welcome as often as you like. Classes are facilitated by an RN/Lactation Consultant. Often Duke Pediatricians/Residents are able to join us. One-time $10 fee for all the sessions a mom chooses to attend.

The information, skills training, and group support of this program will guide you in making lifestyle changes that will help you respond in a healthier way, resulting in a healthy weight that you can maintain over time.
