Prepared Childbirth Class Series

9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Increase your confidence in the birthing process by attending a series of classes (two classes -- Saturday/Sunday -- February 19 & 20, 2011) that includes information and practice sessions on: *Signs and stages of labor *Breathing techniques *Medical Interventions *Pain management options *Positioning for comfort *Postpartum Information *Role of the support person *What to expect in the hospital. Educators trained as Lamaze certified childbirth instructors (LCCE) teach all classes at Teer House. The eight-hour series is available on weekdays or weekends. Expectant parents are encouraged to complete the series between their 34-37th week. Register early, space is limited. Call 919-416-DUKE (919-416-3853) or 1-888-ASK-DUKE (1-888-275-3853). Fee - $80
