Support Prostate Health Awareness Month!

This month Duke is offering several prostate health events, including one specifically for professionals, the Fourth Annual Duke Prostate Center symposium: "The Hope and Promise of Prostate Cancer Therapy and Research in 2008". 

The Keynote Lecture is "Hsp90 Inhibition of Cancer," and will be presented by Leonard M. Neckers, PhD, NCI, NIH Center for Cancer Research. 

Other presenters include:

  • Judd W. Moul, MD, FACS, of the Duke Prostate Center
  • Donald P. McDonnell, PhD
  • Stephen J. Freedland, MD
  • Arnon Krongrad, MD
  • Daniel George, MD

There will also be a panel session featuring four prostate experts on emerging technologies; a question and answer session will follow.

This program is designed to give professionals the opportunity to learn about recent advances in prostate disease treatment.
