September is Cholesterol Awareness Month!

Take charge of your health with a cholesterol awareness event sponsored by the Duke Heart Center.

8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Heart Health Risk Factor Analysis and Heart Healthy Breakfast ($15)

Heart Center staff will provide:

• Cholesterol screening, (total, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, total/HDL ratio)
• Glucose screening
• Blood pressure screening
• Waist circumference and body mass index measurements
• Education and counseling 

11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

Special presentation being provided by Dr. Douglas Schocken, Duke Heart Center cardiologist. Information will be provided on heart disease prevention and risk reduction, cholesterol management, and lifestyle wellness!
