If you have had Type 2 diabetes for three months or more, you may be eligible to participate in a study that evaluates if the diabetes pill Sitagliptin, if taken along with other diabetes medication, prevents heart problems in people with diabetes.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be 50 years or older
  • Have had heart problems, a stroke, or peripheral vascular disease
  • Currently take one or two pills and/or insulin to control your diabetes

Compensation

People in the study will receive compensation for their time and travel.
