Is your pre-teen or teen (ages 12 to 18) receiving psychological or psychiatric care?

If so, you and your child may qualify to participate in the Thinking About Emotions Study, a research study that is investigating what parents, pre-teens, and teens think about emotions and how they talk about emotions together.

Study Requirements

  • Parents and children who participate in the study answer questionnaires and have three short videotaped discussions (15 minutes or less in total) about emotions.
  • Total participation time is approximately two hours.

Compensation

If you take part, you will be paid $40 in appreciation for your time.

For more information, contact the Thinking About Emotions Study staff at 919-681-0037 or thinking.emotions@mc.duke.edu.
