If your child is in third to eighth grade with no known behavioral or medical problems, he or she can participate in a one-visit laboratory research study on friendship.

Or if your child is in third to eighth grade with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), he or she can participate in a one-visit laboratory research study on friendship.

Study Requirements

The study takes less than two hours to complete and includes questionnaires, an IQ test, and several social skills tasks.

Additionally, we will ask your permission to contact your child's teacher to complete several questionnaires.

Child must be in school at the time of study.

Compensation

Compensation is a $20 gift certificate for the child. Parents/caregivers will be compensated $20 for their time as well.

The Duke Child and Family Study Center will conduct this study.
