The goal of this study is to identify risk factors for the development of mental illness in children and adolescents with 22q11 deletion syndrome.

Children ages 9-15 with a diagnosis of DiGeorge syndrome (chromosome 22q11 deletion syndrome) as well as healthy children (as control subjects) in this age range are being recruited.

Each child would undergo psychological testing and a brain MRI. We would also obtain a sample of blood or saliva.

A fee of $100 will be paid upon completion of the study.
