Pain Coping Skills Training for Spinal Cord Stimulator Implants Candidates

This study is testing a pain-coping skills training program to reduce pain for patients who are scheduled to receive a spinal cord stimulator implant.

Eligibility Requirements

Patients at least 18 years old who have been approved by their doctor and insurance company to undergo the spinal cord stimulator implant surgery may be eligible to participate in this study.

Study Requirements

This study can be conducted entirely by telephone. It involves the training sessions and four basic telephone evaluations compensated at $35 each.

The principal investigator is Laura Porter, PhD.
