The purpose of this trial is to examine whether oxygen therapy prolongs and improves the quality of life in those patients who have moderately reduced oxygen levels or those who use oxygen with exercise or sleep.

Eligibility Requirements

Participants must be at least 40 years of age with a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and smoking.
