Help researchers at Duke University Medical Center understand how you and your family communicate about your family’s diet and food choices.

Eligiblity

If you are the primary caregiver of a child between the ages of nine and 16, both you and your child may be eligible to participate in this research study.

Requirements

To participate in the study, you and your child will be asked to:

• Attend a meeting where you will be given a cell phone camera to use for the study
• Take pictures of your every day life as it relates to eating at home, shopping for food, or eating out at restaurants
• Participate in a focus group to discuss your photos and the photos of other participants

Compensation

Your family will receive a total of $100 for participation in both the meeting and focus group.

Cell phones and study materials will be returned to the study manager at the end of your participation.
