The Duke Child and Family Study Center is conducting a research study regarding social functioning in different groups of children.

Eligibility Requirements

If your child is between the ages of eight and 16, African American, and without any major medical or psychiatric illness, he or she may be eligible to participate in the study.

Study Requirements

This one-visit laboratory study requires less than two hours to complete and includes questionnaires, an IQ test, and measures of emotion recognition.

Compensation

Children and their parent or caregiver will each receive a $10 gift certificate for their time.
