This research project seeks adults with glaucoma or suspected glaucoma to participate in a research study examining the communication between the doctor and patient when they discuss glaucoma.

Eligibility Requirements

Participants must be:

  • English-speaking
  • Adults with glaucoma or suspected glaucoma
  • Patients who have used or are currently using glaucoma medications
  • Not blind

Study Requirements

The research study is being conducted at the Duke University Eye Center and Duke University Eye Center of Raleigh. As part of this study:

• Your three regularly-scheduled visits with your doctor will be video-tape recorded.
• You will be asked to complete a short survey.
• You will be asked to demonstrate your eye drop technique.

Compensation

You will be compensated for your time should you choose to participate.
