Persons with uncontrolled asthma are needed to help doctors evaluate an investigational asthma medication.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for participation in this study, you must:

• Be 18 to 65 years of age
• Have been diagnosed with asthma for more than one year
• Have used inhaled corticosteroids daily for at least six months
• Experience continued asthma symptoms

Study Requirements

Eligible participants will be randomized to receive either the investigational medication or a placebo. Participation will last a total of 34 weeks and require 14 visits to the Duke Clinical Research Unit.
