The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effects of two different weight loss programs on physical movement and body weight, muscle mass, and fat mass in older adults with moderate movement limitations. This information will be used to improve our understanding of how to help reduce obesity and improve movement. There is a 6 month time commitment for the program. During the program you will come to Duke for about one hour each week to attend weight loss sessions and particpate in the study.
