STEADi (Study to Evaluate an Adolescent Depression Investigational drug).
STEADi is a clinical research study being done to find out if an investigational drug is safe and if it works for adolescents who have major depressive disorder (MDD). The investigational drug being used in this study is approved and available for use in adults, but has not been approved for use in children or adolescents.
Participation in the study may last for up to 10 weeks and there will be about 9 study visits.
You may be eligible to join the study if you:
Are 12 to 17 years old
Have been diagnosed with MDD or have been having feelings of depression for at least the past 6 weeks
