Volunteers are needed for NASA-funded research at Duke University Hospital's Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Environmental Physiology to study the procedures astronauts use when preparing for extravehicular activity (EVA or spacewalking). Volunteers must come to the lab for a screening and orientation day and for the experimental day. Volunteers are compensated $30 for the screening and $120 for the experiment day. Subjects must be 25-60 years of age, physically fit, and have no physical impairment that would prevent them from altitude exposure.
