This is a study for people who are 18 years or older and who have been told that they are at risk for developing Type 2 diabetes or that they have pre-Type 2 diabetes.

After the screening period, participants are randomly assigned by the flip of a coin to receive one of two dietary fibers.

After taking one fiber for eight (8) weeks there is a washout period. Then participants receive the other fiber which they take for eight (8) weeks.

The study lasts approximately 22 weeks and requires seven (7) clinic visits.
