If you are 18 to 65 years of age, in good health, and have trouble falling asleep and/or staying asleep more than two times a week, you may qualify for a sleep research study.
Doctors at the Duke Sleep Disorder Center are studying the effects of an FDA-approved sleep medication on health measures (i.e. blood insulin and cholesterol).
If you qualify for the study, you will undergo a sleep evaluation and take a study drug or placebo (sugar pill) for 12 weeks.
There is no cost to you to participate in this study. In addition, you will be compensated if you qualify and participate in this study.
