The Duke Center for Cancer Survivorship offers a number of programs that provide a unique array of expertise and resources designed to help patients live fuller lives during every stage of treatment and beyond.

These services are provided by the Survivorship Center and its flagship patient care programs:

Breast Cancer Survivorship Clinic
The Duke Breast Cancer Survivorship Clinic was developed to help address the unique needs of women dealing with the long-term and late effects of breast cancer.

Duke Cancer Patient Education Program
Duke's Cancer Patient Education Program uses a multimedia approach to help cancer patients and their families understand their options, make decisions, manage the effects of cancer and its treatment, and find meaning in the experience.

Cancer Patient Support Program
Through support groups, counseling, self-image resources, and companionship programs, the Duke Cancer Patient Support Program (DCPSP) provides encouragement and compassion to Duke cancer patients.

Oncology Recreation Therapy Program
Oncology Recreation Therapy (ORT) gives patients the opportunity to laugh, play, and embrace their natural creative instincts.

Genetic Counseling
The Hereditary Cancer Clinic at offers cancer risk assessment and education to cancer patients and people with a family history of cancer or other cancer risk factors.
