Symptoms of multiple myeloma may include:

  • Bone pain: Many patients feel pain in the lower back or ribs
  • Fatigue: Because many patients develop anemia, weakness and exhaustion are common
  • Pale complexion: This is another result of anemia and lack of red blood cell production
  • Infection: Urinary tract, bronchial, lung, skin, and other infections may be common or recurring problems
  • Kidney pain: In addition to kidney pain, thirst, fatigue, and muscle pain are also common symptoms
