Part of the Duke Cancer Institute, the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke is one of the largest and most successful brain tumor treatment and research centers of its kind. Our team of experts offers treatments for brain tumors, including the latest novel and experimental therapies.

Tests and Treatments

Treatment depends on the type, location, grade, and size of the tumor and may include a combination of:

  • Surgery to diagnose and remove all or part of the tumor
  • Medical therapy, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy
  • Radiation to shrink the tumor before or after surgery
