The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) -- of which the Duke Cancer Institute is a member -- aims to provide people with cancer and the general public state-of-the-art cancer treatment information in easy-to-understand language.

The NCCN Guidelines for Patients are meant to help patients talk with their physician about treatment options that are best for them. These guidelines do not replace the expertise and clinical judgment of a patient's physician.
