Tai Chi

Tai Chi (TIE-CHEE) uses flowing movements performed in a slow, focused manner and is accompanied by deep breathing. Instructor John Hillson, RN, ONC, CHPN will guide you through this graceful self-paced form of exercise that is now used for stress reduction and for a variety of other health conditions. These sessions are located in the Quiet Room on the 0 Level of the Cancer Center and are held on the 2nd and forth Thursday of the month. No registration is needed. Learn how managing diabetes can help reduce risk of infection, prevent cancer treatment interruptions, and improve quality of life. Meetings are held every Wednesday in the 0 Level Conference Room of the Duke Cancer Center from 11:00-12:00.
