Volunteers are a vital part of the support services available at the Duke Cancer Institute. Each year hundreds of volunteers devote their time and energy to give our patients and their families the extra help and listening ear they need.
Whether it’s by offering a helping hand, giving directions to a clinic, providing care and respite for family members, or being someone to talk with, our volunteers are an important part of the patient care team.
There are many opportunities to get involved and roles to fit each volunteer’s schedule, interests, and availability.
