Duke Consultation and Referral Center

Referring physicians can call 800-MED-DUKE (800-633-3853) to refer a patient to the Duke Cancer Institute, request a telephone consultation, request medical records, and inquire about Duke Medicine's clinical services and programs.

The Duke Consultation and Referral Center puts you in touch with specific physicians or services and facilitates patient appointments.

Duke Physician Liaison Program

Duke’s Physician Liaison Program features experienced health care professionals who meet with community providers in person -- as often as they like -- to help you build a relationship with Duke Medicine.

Physician liaisons work with doctors to provide enhanced access to various resources. Because physician liaisons are nurses first, their services are always patient-centered.
