The Office of Health Equity and Disparities is a new office within the Duke Cancer Institute designed to address cancer disparities and promote health equity within Durham County and surrounding areas through community engagement and education, outreach to screening programs, Patient Navigation for those diagnosed with cancer, and research and clinical trials support activities to insure cultural competent and clinical trial education and recruitment for minorities.
