
Shawn Gage earned his PA degree from Butler University and completed a two-year residency in general surgery at Duke University Medical Center. His special interests in the realm of vascular surgery include: dialysis access, limb loss, and venous disease. He is active in academics at Duke University as the assistant program director for the PA Surgical Residency. He is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants, and the Physician Assistant Education Association.
Shawn is originally from Wisconsin but is very pleased to be living in North Carolina. He enjoys water skiing, golf, and tennis.
