Vasculitis

Vasculitis is the name given to a group of inflammatory disorders of the blood vessels, veins, and capillaries that can result in serious skin disorders and a reduction in blood flow.

Conditions that fall under the umbrella of vasculitis include:

  • Kawasaki disease
  • Polymyalgia rheumatica
  • Wegener’s granulomatosis

Duke’s acclaimed rheumatology team works with clinicians throughout Duke University Health System to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care and management strategies to patients suffering from vasculitis.
