Pregnancy Consultations

We provide consultations for women who have a medical condition that may affect their pregnancy or a fetal abnormality that requires special care.

We are also happy to see patients prior to conception.

Common conditions include:

• Maternal medical complications such as cardiac disease, hypertension, Lupus, and seizure disorders
• Diabetes -- both pre-existing and gestational
• Multiple gestations
• History of multiple miscarriages
• Poor past pregnancy outcomes such as preterm delivery, premature rupture of membranes, or cervical incompetence
• Bleeding and clotting disorders
• Fetal complications that require special monitoring during pregnancy
