Duke’s Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine provides comprehensive evaluation, counseling, and care of both normal and complicated pregnancies.

We provide routine and detailed obstetric ultrasonography, prenatal testing, and extensive genetic counseling through the Fetal Diagnostic Center.

Research includes etiology and prevention of preterm birth and low birth weight, perinatal infections, placental physiology, and maternal complications including hematology disorders and obesity.
