Since its establishment in 1931, Duke Obstetrics and Gynecology has provided a broad range of primary care services to women of all ages throughout the region.

Each year, our general obstetricians, gynecologists, midwives, nurse practitioners, health educators, and other health care professionals manage some 8,000 gynecologic cases and 80,000 office visits. Duke University Hospital delivers 3,100 newborns annually, and Durham Regional Hospital delivers 2,400.

Our skilled practitioners care for patients in a warm and compassionate environment, and we encourage women to develop long-term relationships with our OB/GYN physicians.
