Blending advanced medical practice and research with proven complementary therapies

Tracey Moon, LMBT

Director of Massage Therapy Services

Tracey J. Moon, LMBT, leads the massage therapy program team at Duke Integrative Medicine. She is a North Carolina-licensed massage therapist and has been in practice for nine years.

Moon draws from her experiences in private practice, providing healing to a diverse clientele, including individuals in need of stress management, undergoing cancer therapy, or coping with chronic conditions. Through her involvement at the Duke Diet and Fitness Center, she has also worked extensively with people struggling with weight management.

As an integrative bodyworker, Moon skillfully blends techniques of Swedish and myofascial massage, energy balancing, and deep intuitive listening to create an individualized experience for each client. With Moon's wide range of therapeutic massage techniques and her knowledge from 13 years of a personal yoga practice, she can artfully create strategies to bring balanced living and harmony into her clients' lives.

Moon has a BS from the University of Delaware. She received her massage training in 1998 at the Body Therapy Institute (BTI), a holistic massage therapy school located in Siler City, NC. Moon now serves on the faculty at BTI. Additionally, she is a graduate of The Spirit of Learning, a massage educator training program. She is also a member of the Associated Massage and Bodywork Professionals Association.
