Support Services

Duke Geriatrics administers and partners with a variety of comprehensive patient and family support services that include:

  • Evaluation, counseling, and referrals for caregiver stress, daily-living challenges, and issues related to age-related decline and neurological disorders
  • An outpatient geriatric psychiatry clinic for older patients facing mental health issues such as anxiety and depression
  • Long-term care consultation, planning, and referrals

Our caring and knowledgeable team of geriatric specialists includes physicians, social workers, psychologists, nurses, and physical and occupational therapists.
