Hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids are a common problem and can often be treated by non-surgical means. When hemorrhoids don't respond to other treatments, Duke's board-certified surgeons can help.

Surgical treatments for hemorrhoids offered at Duke include:

  • Hemorrhoid banding
  • Excision of thrombosed external hemorrhoids
  • Procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH)
  • Excisional hemorrhoidectomy

Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Duke's team of gastroenterologists collaborates with physicians from the Department of Surgery and Division of Urogynecology to deliver expert care for those suffering from a range of pelvic floor disorders.
