A division of Duke University’s Department of Pediatrics, Duke Children's Primary Care is dedicated to providing comprehensive well-child and acute care for infants though young adults to age 21.

We also offer other needed services for our patients, including admitting privileges at Duke University and Durham Regional Hospitals, adolescent specialty care, on-site mental health services, a nurse advice line, prenatal visits, lactation services, sports medicine, and an international travel clinic.

We focus on the medical and developmental needs of our patient population and provide a wide range of wellness services and first-line diagnostic and treatment services. We offer comprehensive care for the entire range of childhood illnesses.

Board-Certified Pediatricians

All of our pediatricians are board-certified members of the Duke University School of Medicine faculty, and all see pediatric patients of all ages. The faculty and staff in the division of General Pediatrics constantly work to improve our health care knowledge so that we can provide our patients with state-of-the-art care.

We have 25 pediatricians, as well as pediatric residents, nurse clinicians, and two social workers, who provide care and make referrals to specialists and community resources when indicated.

Some of our physicians have interests and expertise in certain pediatric specialties, such as adolescent medicine, integrative medicine, and sports medicine, while some pursue purely clinical, educational, and advocacy activities. Still others are more heavily involved in primary care related research. All provide excellent patient care.
