Each year the Cancer Patient Support Program dedicates a special tree as part of the Spring Garden Celebration. Below is a list of those honored to date:

• Tree of Hope in memory of Nancy Weaver Emerson (2004)
• Tree of Caring in memory of Susan Moonan (2004)
• Tree of Compassion in honor of Duke Oncology Nurses (2005)
• Tree of Dedication in honor of Duke Oncology Physicians (2006)
• Tree of Gratitude in honor of the NC Women of the Moose (2007)
• Tree of Inspiration in honor of Jonathan Bregman (2008)
