A Care Affair

The Duke Cancer Patient Support Program (DCPSP) and RSVP Events Host Family Fun Day

In recognition of the DCPSP’s and RSVP Events’ 20th anniversaries, we proudly announce our partnership in celebrating this milestone.

Together, we hosted the first annual A Care Affair on Saturday, July 28, 2007. The families, friends, and colleagues of both organizations were all invited to this community event.

DCPSP has been providing psychosocial support to patients and their families coping with cancer for the last twenty years.

Over this time, we have developed wonderful relationships with patients, families, donors, volunteers, board members, and the medical community.

A Care Affair brought our DCPSP family together for a day full of fun activities, music, food, and stories from the last twenty years.

RSVP Events has been dedicated to various community outreach programs throughout the last 20 years. They decided to give away one of their Family Day Events to an organization that matches their caring approach in delivering their services.
