Duke's Brain Tumor Center
combines the resources of a leading research hub with a
commitment to offer the best in patient care.
Our patients benefit directly from our continuing research
into new ways to tackle brain and spinal cord tumors, from
finding ways to selectively target the tumors to creating new
agents designed to destroy cancer. The number of our patients
who survive long-term is steadily increasing.
We also offer many resources aimed at making the treatment
process easier for patients and their families, including our
acclaimed Brain Tumor Quality of Life Program, a model for
hospital-based support programs throughout the United
States.
