The Duke Asthma, Allergy, and Airway Center combines cutting-edge research with a state-of-the-art clinic for patients with asthma and other lung and allergic problems.

The center offers evaluation and management of asthma and for a wide array of allergic or lung diseases. Physicians draw on a a full range of diagnostic laboratory tests and imaging studies within the Duke University Health System, as well as the center's own resources, to ensure that patients receive top-quality care.

Fostering knowledge in asthma, allergy, and airway disease and treatment is a goal of the center. That's why it has the personnel and equipment necessary for clinical and translational studies that are improving the way allergic and lung diseases are treated.
