Patient/Family Support Volunteer Opportunities

Hospice volunteers provide a caring presence for terminally ill patients and their families.

Eighteen hours of training prepare volunteers to provide short periods of companionship, emotional and social support to patients and their caregivers.

Additional opportunities are available at the Inpatient Care Facility, located in Hillsborough, NC.

Development/Administrative Volunteer Opportunities

Development/administrative volunteers are critical to our success. There are many ways you can help:

  • Special events -- fund-raising, decorating, cooking, and more
  • Administrative duties -- filing, labeling, answering telephones, and more
  • Gardening and beautification projects

Development/administrative volunteers can volunteer for a one-time event, or on a continuing basis. Meet great people and make great friends!
