Heart Center Patient Support Program

This excellent program brings recovered heart patients together with patients at Duke Heart Center who are currently undergoing diagnosis and treatment.

Through this interaction, volunteers tell their own story of overcoming heart disease and share insights from their own patient experience. They offer emotional support and reassurance, along with various other services, to the patient and to the family.
