Duke University Health System's community education programs
extend to Duke Raleigh Hospital, which regularly offers a wide
selection of classes and support groups designed to address
current health topics of interest. Many of the events are held
at the hospital's convenient location right off I-440, but they
also bring Duke expertise to the numerous health fairs and
events that pepper the Triangle each year.
Classes
Duke Raleigh Hospital classes change from month to month to
address the current health concerns of the community, so there
is always something new to discuss and discover. Some, are
offered on a routine basis. A few classes charge a nominal fee,
but by far the majority are free. A complete schedule of their

Support Groups
Duke Raleigh Hospital's support groups educate and support
patients, families and health care professionals on a variety
of health topics and concerns. Most groups meet on a monthly
basis with a different topic of discussion examined at each
meeting. They all provide the opportunity to learn more about
the health concerns that affect you in a caring, supportive
environment.
