Durham, N.C. -- The three hospitals of Duke Medicine have been recognized by Business North Carolina magazine as among the best in four critical specialties.

The selection for the 2007 awards was determined by Health Grades Inc., which compiled data from Medicare and accounted for hospitals receiving a high volume of critically ill patients.
